A simple button press programming is used to select and associate wireless devices - it’s as easy as setting a station on your car radio. If you only want to introduce a couple of devices, then you can forego the Hub and program just the devices you need.
To select and associate wireless devices, you just need to press and hold the wireless device. And if you don’t have a hub, you can press dimmers and sensors for 6 seconds to select and sort only the wireless devices you need.
